DRAFT, pending legal review. This page explains our intentions in plain language. It is not a final privacy policy and is not legal advice. Haven will handle sensitive information about minors and health, so a health-law attorney must review this before any public launch.
Privacy
Last updated: 2026. Haven is an early prototype and isn't available to the public yet.

This website doesn't use cookies, advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, and it has no forms. If you email us, we receive the information you put in the email.
The Haven prototype app
The prototype is for testing with made-up information only. It lets a tester enter the kinds of details Haven would need, so we can see how the app works:
- Parents: name, email, mobile number, plan choice, and a typed consent signature.
- Teens: first name, age, and a link code.
- Counselors: name, license type and number, specialties, and approval status.
- Sessions: the date, start time and length of a session. The prototype has no real calls and records no audio or conversation content.
Please don't enter real personal or health information into the prototype.
What parents can see
Only that a session happened, when it started, and how long it lasted. Not what was said. If a counselor believes a teen or someone else is in danger, the counselor follows North Carolina's safety and reporting rules, which can include contacting a parent or emergency services.
What we plan for launch
- Collect only what's needed to run the service safely.
- Never sell personal information or show advertising to teens.
- Explain call recording, data retention, deletion and who can access what, in plain language, before launch.
- Have a health-law attorney review consent forms, minor-consent rules and privacy practices.
Not an emergency service
Haven can't send help to your location. In an emergency call 911. For crisis support call or text 988.
