1. Haven is a prototype
Haven is an early prototype provided for testing and feedback. It may change, break or be withdrawn at any time. Use made-up information only.
2. Haven is not an emergency service
Haven does not provide emergency services and does not replace 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For crisis support, call or text 988. Don't rely on the prototype for help in a real emergency.
3. Who can use Haven
The planned service is for teens aged 13 to 17 with a parent or guardian who creates the account and signs written consent, and for licensed North Carolina counselors. Counselors must hold an active North Carolina license and are responsible for practicing within it.
4. Medical and professional advice
This website and the prototype are not medical advice and do not create a counseling relationship.
5. Plans and payments
No payments are taken in the prototype. Pricing for the planned family plan has not been set. SOS is intended to remain free.
